The Knowledge Base Search Tool

Did you know OCC has an advanced knowledge base search that goes far beyond keyword matching? Use quotation marks for exact phrase searches, hyphens to exclude terms, and asterisks for wildcard searches. For example, searching “challenge tips” -beginner will find articles about tips for intermediate and advanced users.

The Expert Advisor Feature

Hidden in the Support tab is the Expert Advisor—an AI-powered tool that provides personalized recommendations based on your challenge history and community feedback. Unlike general support, this feature learns from your specific patterns.

Notification Filtering

Many users miss the notification settings in their profile preferences. You can set up sophisticated filters to categorize support alerts:

• Challenge-related notifications only
• Community milestone updates

• Direct messages from support staff

Priority Support Queue

Users with a premium support subscription can access the priority queue. But here’s what many don’t know: you can temporarily boost a standard support request for minimal cost if you need urgent assistance.

Community Mentor Connection

The Mentor Matching tool is buried under “My Support,” but it’s invaluable. This feature connects you with experienced challengers who have successfully completed similar challenges.

Batch Documentation Download

For those managing multiple challenges, the batch export feature allows you to download all support materials, FAQs, and your own progress notes in various formats (PDF, Markdown, or HTML).

Custom Support Alerts

Create custom alerts for specific topics using the Advanced Alert Builder. You can set conditions like “notify me when someone posts about [topic] in the community” or “alert me if my challenge has been updated.”
